Please accept my condolences in the loss of your dad and know that our loving Heavy Father is very aware of your pain and grief. At 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 tells us that Jehovah God is the God of all comfort. His comforting words at Revelation 21:3,4 assures us that in due time he will forever end all suffering including death. Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear James, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. While doing so, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. As demonstrated in the past, He has the unique ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory. Notice how the Bible further stress the fact in the faith strengthening video link:

Very sorry for your loss. Many people find comfort in the Bible during difficult times like this. John 5:28, 29 says "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Please take a look at this short video that gives us hope for the future. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/videos/#en/mediaitems/VODMinistryTools/pub-imv_4_VIDEO

My deepest condolences to the Kiesler family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 101 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart goes out to you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy
