Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Carolyn, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will continue to reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. This happens when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God’s promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Butch we are praying that God wraps his arms around you and gives you the strength and conform you are needing right now,as well as all your tomorrows. We all know Carolyn is finally walking, talking and knowing her probably singing and dancing in Heaven with God, so she's happy but the ones she has left behind here on earth are sad and hurting.
