Edie, Our hearts are broken at the news of losing Steve. He will be missed by so many. That infectious smile always lit up the room. I know you have so many great memories of a happy marriage...Hold on to those and God's promise of an eternal home waiting for his children. Praying for peace and comfort during this most difficult time, Edie.

Edie's dad and my mother were married back in 1978 so I was Steve's step brother in law. Even though I was just a kid, whenever we were around Steve he always treated me like I was family by birth and not just by marriage. He was a good man who treated people right. Our thoughts and prayers are with Edie, Ben, family, and friends during this time.

There are no words that truly express how much our hearts hurt for and with you ❤️ I can still Steves smile as he would be entering the church or at a gathering he was a sweet soul who was true to himself. May your memories bring a smile to your face and a joy in your heart🙏 For he left a piece of him with each of you💙

My sincere sympathy goes out to the Craps family on your precious loss.
I understand the pain of losing loved ones to the sting of death. Three years ago our daughter died and April 21, 2017 my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death.

I would like to share what has helped me to cope. It wasn't just the outpouring of love from the many Congregations across the United States but the reality of what was contained in the Scriptures. Reading about how the Most High God's son Jesus viewed death was indeed comforting: Psalms 83:18 & John 11:11-14. Psalms gives the name of the Most High & the book of John gives Jesus view of death yes, as one Sleeping. Not that one is here or there but is sleeping. And the Scriptures even say where: Daniel 12:2 but I look to the future with complete hope of seeing loved ones again free from sickness, pain & sorrow: Isaiah 33:24, Revelation 21:3,4.
The Scriptures even say where they will be resurrected to & how long we will be together: John 5:28, 29 & Psalms 37:11 & Psalms 37:29.

Well, I hope that just these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
Sent in deep sympathy & love,
Roz
