During a difficult time, and a period where lots of folks may not want to talk to anyone, they helped me and my family navigate the process in a thorough and complete manner. I cannot thank them enough for the care shown to myself and other members of my family and they routinely went above and beyond. It made a very emotional time manageable. I was greatly relieved and assured to know the level of care and dignity they showed during a hectic time and the holidays. I cannot give enough praises to the entire staff at Barr-Price. Their compassion, knowledge and professionalism was so appreciated throughout the entire process of cremating my mother. They went above and beyond making me and my family feel cared for. They even accommodated us by getting my mother's remains in a timely fashion for her ceremony on short notice (in the midst of Hurricane Helene!). We are beyond grateful for and are so pleased with how wonderful they were in caring for my late mother. I have now advised my family to use their services when my own time comes. When my husband recently passed quite unexpectedly, the people at Barr-Price were wonderful to work with. My husband served 31 years in the NC National Guard and had spent the last 10 years working with the 81st Readiness Reserve on Fort Jackson, as planning engineer. In our search for the right funeral home, we came to Barr-Price. We had seen a casket at another funeral home that would help represent his years of military service. While it was a brand not carried by Barr-Price, Robert Lollar found it and ordered it especially for us. It was beautiful. The staff has been so helpful. Having not expected to be making these arrangements right now, they answered every question, some even before they were asked. My husband's hairdresser went in to fix his hair and her comments were "The staff there was wonderful" My sister was also amazed at how wonderful they were. She had been responsible for finding resting places for both my parents in another city and state and she was so impressed and thankful for the ways that they helped me. I could not have asked for a better group of people to help me and my children during this difficult time.

My family appreciates the professionalism and care to coordinate and walk us through the entire funeral process. Mary's help was exceptional to both myself and my children as we navigated through the process of laying my husband/father to rest. The coordination with the Fort Jackson Veteran's Cemetary was beautifully orchestrated and will treasure the love and support that Mary helped me walk through this season in my life.
