Please accept our condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Elizabeth, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, only God has the ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory. Notice how the Bible stress this fact in the faith strengthening video Below:

My deepest condolences to the Lewis/Rubeiz family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 49 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart goes out to you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy

I am so sorry about the loss of your beautiful daughter, Elizabeth. A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts God can give you. The heart, like the mind has a memory and in it are kept the most precious keepsakes. Elizabeth was a precious keepsake. While you grieve, the angels in heaven rejoice. Love you dearly, my high school friend. May God give you peace and comfort.

We are so terribly sad to learn of Elizabeth's passing. Having been friends of Patsy for over 20 years, we know how much she was adored. Hearing stories about her let us know what a remarkable young woman she was. We pray for comfort to get all of you through this terrible time, and know how great a loss this is to her whole family. I saw a saying recently, this is not verbatim: "Grieve not for what has been taken, but give thanks that it was given." All your lives are richer for having Elizabeth in them.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. One of the most difficult things we have to deal with is the death of a loved one. The Bible promise; "God is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." The Bible also says; "Throw your burden on God and he will sustain you." (Psalm 34:18 and 55:22) I hope this message offers comfort in your time of sadness.

We don't know what to say except that we love you. We can't understand exactly how you feel, but Jehovah does and will keep raising you up. We hope that our prayers help a little. Psalm 94:19 "When anxieties overwhelmed me, You comforted and soothed me."
