I wanted to reach out to you during this sad time to offer my condolences. While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God's promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Memories of Marilyn are many since our children were young together, but I think her sense of humor stands out to me. She was a huge tease, and would laugh like crazy along with her perfectly timed delivery! She was a no nonsense mother when raising the children, and they knew she loved them. I loved her confidence, her dedication to family, and her joy in living! I will miss her, and hope that I will be remembered with such admiration.

I wanted to express my most sincere and deepest sympathy for your loss. I've lost many whom I love and I found much comfort in the Bible. Revelation 21:4 tells us that "He will wipe out every tear from our eyes,and death will be no more!" I also recommend reading John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15, and Psalm 37:9-11. They all truly comforted me during this most difficult time, and I hope they will comfort you also!
