With great sadness we announce the passing of Yevonne Mack Barefoot, 91, who went to her heavenly home on June 30, 2020.
Born November 1, 1928 in Lexington County, SC. She was the daughter of the late Bob and Grace Mack. She worked at Barefoot Machine Shop as a secretary and wife of the owner, Sam Barefoot for 58 years. She enjoyed painting and crafts, photography, seamstress, and camping. She was a member of Pelion Eastern Star Chapter, Boiling Springs United Methodist Church, Boiling Springs Community Club, Gilbert American Legion Auxiliary and past member of the Sandhill Swingers Square Dance Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel H. Barefoot, Bob and Grace Mack (parents), James Mack (brother), and Perry Howard (brother in law).
Surviving are sisters, Shirley Howard and Gayle (Verley) Metts and Annette Mack (sister in law). Children, Gene (Wanda) Barefoot, Bobby (June) Barefoot, Keith (Joanne) Barefoot, Donnie (Sandra) Barefoot and Larry (Teresa) Barefoot.
Grandchildren, Greg (Dianna) Barefoot, Doug (Audra) Barefoot, Kevin (Amanda) Barefoot, Scott (Leigh Anne) Barefoot, Chris (Delaine) Barefoot, Melissa (Chris) Price, and Amber Barefoot. Great grandchildren, Maddie, Aiden, Katelyn, Reagan, Bristol, Eva, Oakley Barefoot, Faith Wright, Fowler & Ridge Price.
Private Graveside services will be held.
Pallbearers will be Greg, Doug, Kevin, Scott, Chris Barefoot and Chris Price.
