Obituary
Gilbert – Wyman R. “Jake” Keisler, Sr. passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was born in Gilbert, SC on June 5, 1939 to the late Grover and Eunice Smith Keisler. After retiring as a brick mason, he was a heavy equipment operator. Most of all he was our beloved Papa Jake.
Surviving are his two sons, Wyman R. “Scooter” Keisler, Jr. (Tammy LeBel) and Brian (Missy) Keisler of Gilbert; three grandchildren, Wyman R. “Ricky” (Brittney) Keisler, III, Kristen (Nathan) Harmon, Travis (Kayla) Keisler; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Annie Kyzer and brothers, Orvis “Doc” Keisler and Alton “Tom” Keisler. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Calvin “Jim” Keisler.
The family is hosting a drop-in to celebrate Jake’s life on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the home of Brian and Missy Keisler from 5pm to 7pm. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
