Willie "Jean" Eugenia Hutson

Willie “Jean” Eugenia Hutson, 88, of Lexington, SC went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2022.  She was a child of George and Pearl Brazelle, born in Lexington County, SC.

Jean was a strong woman of faith and was very active in her church.  She retired from the State Auditor’s Office.  Jean was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children; Ronald (Kay) Hutson, Rita (Harry) Stokes, Karl Hutson; her grandchildren, Harry (Leigh) Stokes Jr., Angela “Angie” Stokes, Kelly (Justin) Metts, Dr. Joseph (Rachel) Hutson; her great-grandchildren, Helen Stokes, Abigail Stokes, Marlee Metts, Madelyn Metts, Miller Hutson and Harper Hutson.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hutson.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00  a.m. at: Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Dress is casual for hot weather.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Reflection Fellowship Church, 1228 South Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29073.
