West Columbia-Funeral service for William Thomas Glover, 87, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church for Navajo Faith Mission 501 Church St. West Columbia, SC 29172. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Glover passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Born in West Columbia, he was a son of the late Melvin Thomas and Rosa Lee Sturkie Glover. He was a member of Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church, a US Army Veteran, and retired Carpenter.
Surviving include his daughter, Sheila Glover (Stephen) Wilson; son, William Gregory (Lisa) Glover, Sr.; son-in-law, Ray Dennis; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathryn (Robert) Spires; brothers, Rev. Clide (Billie) Glover and Johnny Glover.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eddie Athenia Geddings Glover; daughter, Ivie Jean Glover Dennis; great-grandchild, Dylan Michael Stone; and sisters, Lessie Helms and Gaynell Branch.
