William Joseph Williams IV Obituary

William Joseph Williams IV

May 23, 1959 – June 19, 2022

“Little Joe, Joey, Joe Joe” died Sunday, June 19, 2022 following a heart attack.  Joe was the oldest child of the late William Joseph Williams III and Margaret “Peggy” D. Howison (John E.), born in Rock Hill and resided in Gilbert, SC.

Joe was a telephone contractor by trade, working throughout the Southeast.  His passion was cooking for friends and neighbors and was known for his “Joe Sauce”.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved living on the lake.  Joe cherished his birthday camping trips and Saturday morning coffee with dear friends.  He adored his fur baby, Max, who rode shot-gun most everywhere.

His sisters, Ginger (David) Smith, Julie (David) Parker; nephews, Will (Lindsey), Ivey, John, Thomas and great-niece, Eleanor will cherish his memories.

Always thinking of others, Joe was an organ and tissue donor.  Joe lived life his way, to the fullest and loved with the biggest heart.  We will miss his sweet smile and twinkling blue eyes.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 201 E. White Street, Rock Hill, SC at 2:00PM.  A celebration of life will be held at a future date on Lake Murray. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
