William Edward Loof

Memorial services for William Edward Loof, 66, will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with Chaplin Clay Summers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness, PO Box 49104, Baltimore, MD 21297.

Mr. William passed away Monday, December 15, 2025. He was born on June 21, 1959 in Germany to the late William Herman Loof and Catherine Loof. William was a professional sales representative in the commercial HVAC industry where he was employed with Total Comfort Solutions. Outside of work, he loved riding his motorcycle, enjoyed many trips to destinations near and far, was a Scout Leader and was proud to have helped his son and four others to become Eagle Scouts. He was active in the local Statesville, NC community where he was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. William enjoyed traveling and camping at Myrtle Beach along with his wife, Angie. He served our country in the United States Navy and was a lifelong Giants fan. William was always proud of his family and was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Angela “Angie” Loof; sons, Matthew Loof and Zachary Bryer; daughter, Rebecca Loof; brother, Edward Loof; sister, Karen England (Rob); and grandchildren, Cole Bryer, Luna Bryer, Esah Strickland, Max Campbell, and Jagger Campbell.
