William "Bill" H. Taylor Obituary

William (Bill) H. Taylor died on November 08, 2023, at home, surrounded by his wife, Linda C. Taylor and his daughters, Janna M. Irwin and Tracey L Nieman.

He loved his family, working hard, and playing a good game of golf. He served in the Air Force and then in the Air Force reserves before his career at AT&T, as a Supervising Engineer. He retired in 1991 and began his second career building houses. He was always willing to help anybody that he could and strived to “make it happen”. He will be missed for his great advice and support to his family. He was very loved by us all.

Bill leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Linda; and her daughter, Donna (Ben) Haigh; his two daughters, Janna M. Irwin and Tracey L. (Chip) Nieman ; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Bill loved his home town of Darlington, SC and leaves behind his sister, Jill Norwood and many family and friends in that area.

He is predeceased by his parents; Redden D. Taylor and Marie Taylor;  his sisters, Helen McKain, Amy Hawkins,  Rose Mary Taylor; and his brothers, Frances Woodham, Freddie Woodham, Jack Woodham and Tommy Taylor.

The family will be having a gathering at his home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
