Funeral service for William Everette “Bill” Crawford, 81, will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Celestial Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the mausoleum. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Crawford passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023. Born on January 28, 1942, he was the oldest son of the late Claude E. and Lillie M. Crawford. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS Iwo Jima during the Vietnam Conflict. Bill was a career truck driver and retired from L. A. Barrier.
Surviving include his brothers, Charles Crawford of Lexington and Mitch (Deborah) Crawford of West Columbia. Left to cherish his memory are a group of people of who he was so proud to call his friends, nieces, and nephews; and daughter, Tracy Lynn Howell of Breamerton, WA.
He was predeceased by his wife, Norma Yonson Crawford; brother, Claude Earl Crawford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maelene (Archie) Mills and Miriam (Paul) Busbee.
