Obituary

William Thomas “TMac” McDaniel, III, 73, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023. He was born to parents Bill and Mary McDaniel, on July 28, 1950 in Augusta, Georgia.

TMac was a graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School and Clemson University. He was the owner of TMac’s Fine Shoes on Main Street and then enjoyed time working at Gentlemen’s Closet store in Five Points.

TMac is survived by his daughter, Ashleigh Near (Jesse), his son, Trey McDaniel (Jessi), and his, brother Richard McDaniel (Faye) of Batesburg-Leesville as well as his four grandchildren, Caroline, Daniel, Will and Emersyn.

TMac was predeceased by parents Bill and Mary McDaniel.

The family welcomes you to a visitation that will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 10am-12pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home in Lexington. Please come celebrate and share memories dressed in your game day gear! The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
