Wayne P. "Buddy" Taylor

Wayne P. "Buddy" Taylor, 80, passed away from this life on April 9, 2021.  He was born in Lexington County on December 11, 1940 to the late A.J. and Emily Price Taylor.  He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, retired farmer and owner of Wayne Taylor Family Farms.  He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Hook Taylor; two sons, Larry (Joye) Taylor of Gilbert, and Richard (Jennifer) Taylor of Leesville; four grandchildren, Zach (Anna) Taylor of Liberty, SC; Caleb, Luke and Emily Taylor of Gilbert, and one great-grandson, Jervey Taylor; two sisters, Audrey (Jimmy) Clark of St. Marys, Ga. and Pam (Melvin) Hartley of Leesville.  Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery on Priceville Rd. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
