Wayne Ervin Richburg

Wayne E. Richburg passed away peacefully hand-in-hand with his wife and daughter on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the age of 76.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Carol Barrett Richburg; children, Mike Richburg and Mandy Richburg Rivers, son-in-law, Jeff Rivers, grandchildren, Peyton Richburg, Madison Rivers, Holly Rivers and Jackson Rivers, and sister, June Watts.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Roof Richbourg and Lester Richbourg, daughter, Angela Richburg and sister, Joyce Weiner.

Wayne was born December 3, 1941 in Columbia, SC and lived in Lexington County, SC the majority of his life.  He was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his grandchildren with a fierce passion.

A visitation is scheduled for 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Epworth Children’s Home would be sincerely appreciated.  Donations can be made at www.epworthchildrenshome.org/give/
