Valoree Highfill

Valoree Highfill was born in West Columbia, SC on February 14, 1936.  Her being born on Valentines Day is why her parents chose to name her Valoree. She was born to the late Ms. Floria Backman Shull and Mr. Berly V. Shull.  

Ms. Highfill was predeceased by her husband, Charles Highfill; and daughter, Mandy Colclasure. 

Valoree is survived by her 2 children, Randy Smith and Tammy McCormick; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was always on mission spreading Gods love and outreach to anyone in need.  Valoree was dedicated to her family, a very talented baker, seamstress, florist and gardener.

Funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Trinity Church West 650 Ermine Road West Columbia, SC 29170. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm prior to the service at the church. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
