Tonya Leigh Corder

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our sweet Mother Tonya Corder, 47, who left this world far too soon. Tonya was the treasured daughter of Angela Duncan Beasley and the late Timothy Corder.

Tonya’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a proud and devoted mother to her two daughters, Aubrey Corder (Kenzie) and Erika Greene(Zach), and a loving “TT” to her precious grandson, James Fryman, who was truly the light of her life. Tonya is also survived by her siblings, Rebecca Beasley and Corey Beasley, who will forever cherish their memories together and her boyfriend of 5 years Jeffrey Martin. 

Tonya had a heart as big as her smile. She loved deeply, gave selflessly, and always put her family first. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or simply being there when someone needed her, Tonya touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion. Her faith as a Christian was a guiding light, and she lived every day with love and generosity.

Tonya’s family and friends will forever remember her laughter, her strength, and the way she could make anyone feel special. Though she may no longer be with us, the impact she made on the lives of those who loved her will never fade.

Memorial services to celebrate Tonya’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with Mrs. Beverly Taylor officiating. The visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

“Lord, we thank You for the gift of Tonya’s life and the love she poured into her family. We ask for comfort and peace as we grieve her passing. May her memory remind us to love deeply, live fully, and cherish each moment. Hold her close in Your eternal care until we meet again. Amen.”
