Tonya Bell Breedlove, 48, of Gilbert, South Carolina, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2026. Tonya was born on May 26, 1977 in Winter Park, Florida to Don and Terri Daniel Bell.
She is survived by her parents; devoted husband, Paul W. Breedlove; and mother-in-law, Linda Breedlove. Tonya’s legacy lives on through her children, Gavin, Kayla, and “daughter at heart” Layla. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Jessica, (John) Peters, and nephews, John Curtis, Jack, Caleb; nieces, Catherine and Clara. She is also survived by her aunts, Kay Bell Arnold, Jeanette Earle, Mary Daniel, Brenda Breedlove; uncles, Dan Daniel, Joel Daniel, Bill Earle, Sonny Breedlove, and close family friend, Uncle Bill; and numerous cousins and extended family members who will deeply miss her presence.
Tonya is predeceased by her brother, Curtis Bell; grandparents, Jesse and Doris Bell, Buford and Helen Daniel and father-in-law, Bruce Breedlove.
Tonya’s life was one of Service, Love, and Faith. She was a Beam of Love and Strength and embodied a Spirit of Grace, Resilience, Kindness and Warmth.
Tonya attended Gilbert schools, an active participant in cheerleading and track. She graduated from University of South Carolina with a BS degree in Exercise Science. Her employment career began at age 13 with her father at Bell Aviation. Her cancer diagnosis led her into deep study of nutrition. She had a passion for sharing with others her knowledge in this field and leading exercise classes. Her deep and strong faith in the Lord Jesus led her into leading Bible Studies and sharing her testimony at every opportunity. Tonya had a love for adventure. She was a Private Pilot and Certified Scuba Diver. She enjoyed snow skiing, slalom water skiing, hiking, crewing with her brother and dad on sailboats, zip lining, whitewater rafting, and running.
Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is now with her Savior and rejoicing in the peace and joy that only He can provide. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Tonya’s impact will be felt by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her Love, Faith, and Devotion to her Family, and God will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Tonya’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Lexington Baptist Church 308 E Main St, Lexington, SC 29072 on Friday, March 20th. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, Tonya had requested that memorials may be made to Centerville Radius Church or Lavie Pregnancy Care Center of Lexington. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
