Tony McGuire
Gilbert-Services for Anthony E. “Tony” McGuire, 65, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel with the Rev. Zak Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 887 Johnnie Dodd Blvd., Suite 110, Mt. Pleasant SC 29464.
Mr. McGuire passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023. Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late James and Frances Derrick McGuire. He was a former member of B-L Masonic Lodge #138, retired from the SC National Guard, and was a retired commercial plumber with Derrick Plumbing.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Wofford McGuire; daughters, Kelly Rene Carter (Kevin) and Lindsay McGuire (Justin Angona); son, Craig Hoffman (Ashley); brother, Dennis Whitman (Linda Sue); 9 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Gail Amerson.
