Tony Dean Fleetwood, 81, passed away November 24th, 2021 at home after an extended illness.
Born in Decatur, Illinois, Tony was the son of the late Earl Russell Fleetwood and Doris Fleetwood. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He also was a member of the Sinclair Masonic Lodge 154 and a Shriner. A devoted Christian, he was a member of South Lexington Baptist Church. A lifetime entrepreneur, he was the former owner of Fleetwood's One Stop in Allendale, S.C. Tony was the loving husband of Joanne Beason Fleetwood.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter, Deborah Fleetwood (Harold) Walker of West Columbia; son, Earl Dean (Mary) Fleetwood of Barnwell, S.C.; grandchildren, Brantley Ashton Walker of West Columbia; Earl Dean “Fleety” Fleetwood, Jr. of North Charleston; Jordan Brooke Walker of Swansea; step-grandchildren, James Harold Walker, Jr. of Columbia and Heather Atkins of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Daniel Walker and McKinley Ashton Walker, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Betty Ferguson Fleetwood.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the chapel at Barr - Price Funeral Home in Lexington, S.C. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy 52, Moncks Corner, S.C.
