Tommy Peagler

Tommy Peagler was born in Cayce, S.C. August 16, 1931. He was the son of Daniel Chester Peagler and Margaret "Maggie" Spigner Peagler. He passed away July 30, 2025 aged 93.

He was predeceased by his parents; and siblings, Daniel C. Peagler, Jr. (Blondelle), William "Billy" Peagler (Girlie) and Ruth Peagler Michael Townsend (Mike and Homer). He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Shirley Anne Rast Peagler, his son, Daniel Ernest "Ernie" Peagler (Pennie) and his daughter, Frances Lee Peagler Long, and grandchildren, John Thomas Peagler, Zachary Daniel Peagler, and London Anne Peagler, and several nieces and nephews.

He attended Brookland Cayce schools and was a veteran of the Air Force. He served in Morocco during the Korean War.

He loved people and any gathering of people. He especially loved his family. One of his favorite loves was to be around lots of people.

He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Sinclair Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. Services will be held at Shiloh UMC on 546 Gardners Terrace Road, West Columbia, SC on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 A.M.
