Timothy "Tim" Mabus

Mr. Timothy “Tim” Mabus, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was born on January 26, 1959 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late William Dowie Mabus, Sr. and June Buff Mabus. Tim worked in the trucking industry, where he was owner and operator of TBM Transport for over 20 years. Devoted to his faith, he was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church. During his free-time Tim enjoyed working on cars, listening to gospel music and southern rock music.

Surviving are his wife, Denise Crapps Mabus; daughter, Casey Sluder (Jay); sister, Tammy Roberts (Marion); and grandchildren, Brooke Sluder and Connor Sluder. Tim is predeceased by his brother, William D. Mabus, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leon Rawl and Rev. Robert Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Mabus family with arrangements.
