Timothy Lawrence Wix Sr.

Memorial service for Timothy Lawrence Wix, Sr., 69, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Rev. Clifford Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Wix passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Thomas L. and Desie Langford Wix. He was the owner and operator of Climate Control Heating and Air for over 30 years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved his family. His greatest joy in life was grilling, eating, making daiquiris, and spending time on the lake with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly Kohlhagen Wix, son, Timothy Wix, Jr., daughter, Jennifer Rainville, step-mother, Marge Wix, step-daughter, Kristi Kohlhagen, brothers, Jack Wix and Terry Wix, step-sisters, Nora  Vanderhoff and Patti Vanderhoff,  grandchildren, Erich Rainville and Allison Smith. He was predeceased by a sister, Joni Black, brothers, Thomas Wix, Jr. and Billy Vanderhoff.
