Timothy Gary Cooper

Timothy Gary Cooper, 61, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.  He was born May 22, 1962 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Jack T. Cooper, Jr. and Gertrude Cooper. He graduated from Swansea High School and owned and managed several businesses for more than thirty years. Mr. Cooper enjoyed the simple things in life and found his greatest peace in nature. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, all types of racing, and befriended everyone he met. 

Surviving include his daughter, Tiffany Jean Cooper; his siblings, Rose Marie Cooper-Shealy and Thomas M. Cooper (Kristie M.); his nephews, Jacques Ezra Cooper-Shealy, Christofer Thomas Cooper, Richard Alexander Cooper, Jack Wyatt Cooper; his aunts, Patsy Cooper Hutto and Carolyn Cooper Florence; as well as several close cousins.

He was predeceased by his younger brother, Edward Lee Cooper. 

A celebration of life service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2023 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel 609 Northwood Road Lexington, SC 29072. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the funeral home.
