Tilda Amelia Quattlebaum Stone

November 6, 1954 – May 29, 2023

Tilda Amelia Stone, 68, of Lexington, passed Monday, May 29, 2023. Born in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, Tilda was the middle daughter of Sadie C. Quattlebaum and Leland H. Quattlebaum.

Tilda was an amazing woman with a bright smile. She was a dental assistant for over 30 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to ride on the motorcycle with her husband Tim, being on the lake, and finding the best bargain on clothes and shoes. She enjoyed cooking and made the best peach cobbler. She was full of life, energy and plenty of spunk like her favorite character Betty Boop. Tilda was a very positive person and would never tell you if she was down or feeling bad. She always was willing to help and put others before herself.

Tilda is survived by her husband, Timothy Harold Stone, Sr.; stepsons, Timothy Harold Stone, Jr. (Brooke), Bryan Jefrey Stone, Sr. (Sara); step-grandchildren, Bryan Jefrey Stone, Jr, Nathan Pearson Stone and Timothy James Stone. She is also survived by her siblings, C. Nelson Quattlebaum (Ellen) and Clayton C. Quattlebaum (Lisa) and her nephews Curtis Quattlebaum, Paul Quattlebaum, Ian Quattlebaum and Lee Quattlebaum.

She was proceeded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, SC. The family will be receiving friends following the service. Flowers may be sent to Barr-Price Funeral Home for the service.
