Thomas DeCarpio Obituary

Thomas Patrick DeCarpio died Thursday, January 14, 2021. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Thomas Joseph DeCarpio and Anna Marie Houser DeCarpio, formerly of Sandy Run, SC. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Joella M. DeCarpio; and sister, Sandra Ray (Timothy).

Surviving are his two sons, Thomas P. DeCarpio Jr. (Lydia) of Gaston, SC, and Michael M. DeCarpio of West Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Tarrin D. Knight (Lucas) of Lugoff, SC, Patrick J. DeCarpio (Brandi) of Gaston, SC, Kaitlyn A. DeCarpio of West Columbia, SC, Phillip M. Walker (Dawnn) of Lexington, SC, and Madison V. Stephenson (Michael) of Gaston, SC; and six very loved great-children, Chloey DeCarpio, Sophia and Cooper Knight, Koltin Walker, and Drake and Waylon DeCarpio.

Burial will be in the Mausoleum at Southland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
