She retired from the Florida School District, where she worked with special needs children.  She absolutely loved children, which she displayed with her family.  She devoted her life taking care of her grandchildren.  Juette had a special love and bond with grandson, Michael & great-grandsons, Dane (Kayla) Thompson & Dale (Deanna) Thompson.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Everett; 2 brothers, Celman & William and a sister, Myrtice; as well as a dear friend to Juette, Janice Ellis.

Juette is survived by her son, Maxwell (Janice) Thompson of FL; daughter, Faye Pressnell of SC; Grandchildren, Michael (Rebecca) Thompson of SC, Tommy (Jan) Thompson of FL, Ronald Thompson of FL, Donald, Ronald, David and Caroline all of FL; a sister, Donna June Wilson of MO; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces & nephews.

Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Ridgeway Manor for taking such good care of her.  Cathy Jeter, at Regency Hospice, thank you for everything that you have done to help us over the last year.  A special thank you to Nicole (Christopher) Edenfield and Joseph (Lynda) Boone, for all your help taking care of Juette the last 5 years.

In a separate acknowledgement, we would like to say THANK YOU to all of her girlfriends in Florida, who kept her active and showing a friendship like no other. You ladies were such a major part of her life, and we will forever be grateful to all of you.
