Tara Lorraine Graham Obituary

We mourn the untimely passing of Tara Lorraine Graham, who was called home on September 26, 2025. Born on March 6, 2015, in Columbia, SC, the joy she brought to this world in her short but vibrant ten years will forever be celebrated and remembered.
Tara was a beacon of love, compassion, and spirit. Her empathetic nature was evident in her love for her family, her dedication to her faith, and her remarkable affinity for animals. Tara was a spirited young lady who found joy in singing, dancing, and gymnastics. Her love for worship at her church was only matched by the joy she found in being a big sister, often referred to as the "little mama" who was always ready to help her mother look after her siblings. Her favorite colors were purple and pink, and she loved everything that sparkled and looked like a rainbow. As a vegetarian, Tara's compassionate spirit extended to all beings, a testament to her understanding and empathy beyond her years.
Celebrations of Tara's life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the Lexington Baptist Church located at 308 East Main Street, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm. The burial will take place at 4:00 pm at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, South Carolina, 29170. All services are under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium (Lexington).
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents Ashley and Maison Graham; siblings, Daniel, Ezio, Sylas, Wyatt and Rory; maternal grandparents, Lisa Sanfilippo (Leslie Bowers) and Michael Vara; paternal grandfather Jesse Garcia; great grandparents; great great grandmother; 13 aunts and uncles; along with 8 cousins. Tara was preceded in death by her grandmother Tara Graham; and her brother, “MJ” Maison Graham.
As we remember Tara, let us hold dear the words of A.A. Milne, "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Her short life was filled with the essence of these words, as she made every moment count and brought happiness to those around her.
We encourage friends and family to share their memories and upload photos to Tara's memorial page. Through these personal tributes, Tara's loving spirit will continue to shine brightly, bringing comfort and solace to those who knew and loved her. Let us keep her memory alive by remembering her as the empathetic, loving, spirited, and compassionate girl that she was.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
