Tammy Brown Ross

Lexington -Tammy Brown Ross, 58, a life-long resident of Lexington, SC, passed away early Friday, June 18, 2021, after a battle with cancer.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Alex; her daughter, Nickie (Matt), her granddaughter, Amelia; and her brother Michael Brown (Judy). She also has many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Peggy and Harold Brown. 

Tammy was born on January 11, 1963 in Columbia, SC, and graduated from Airport High School in 1981. She married Roger Alex Ross on April 14, 1990 and they welcomed their daughter on January 17, 1992. 

Tammy was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed going on cruises with her family and serving others by cooking for them. She served in the church nursery at Grace Chapel for many years. Tammy enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, traveling, playing bunco, and being with her family. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family and all who knew her. 

A celebration of life service will be held at Grace Chapel on June 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm. They will receive family and friends, prior to the service, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Congaree Kids Kamp or Special Olympics.
