Steven Thompson

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Steven Floyd Thompson, fondly known as Steve, on March 21, 2026. Born in Winnsboro, SC, on October 22, 1954, Steven spent the majority of his life in West Columbia, South Carolina, where he was a cherished member of the community.

Steven is survived by his beloved daughter, Jenny Baker (Jerry Baker), sisters Jennifer McFadden and Penni Rentz (David Rentz). He was predeceased by his wife, Rachel Thompson; his sister, Vickie Thompson; and his parents, Willie Thompson and Farris Thompson McFadden. His memory will be cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Services are under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium (Lexington).
