Steve Shealy

Steve Shealy, 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1952 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late McCoy Albert and Marjorie Shealy Shealy. Steve was a member of Union Lutheran Church and worked for South Carolina Department of Social Services for over 40 years.

Surviving are his sister, Kathy Bennett (Brian); nephews, Robby Crumpton (Leigh Anne), and Ronnie Crumpton (Lynn); great-nieces and great-nephews, Cooper Crumpton, Brooklyn Crumpton, and Grayson Crumpton.

Funeral services to honor his life will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Union Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Ebener officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Lutheran Church, 4077 US-378, Leesville SC 29070. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
