Stacy B. Smith

A Celebration of Life for Stacy Binnicker Smith, 55, will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Rev. Luke Swanson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Autism Society of South Carolina (scautism.org).

Mrs. Smith passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025.  Born in Orangeburg, she was the daughter of Jane Sineath Oswald and the late Bobby Joe Binnicker.  She was employed with Lexington County School District 1.

Surviving are her husband, Jason Smith, Sr.; her mother and step-father, Jane and Moody Oswald; step-mother, Merilyn Binnicker, son, Jason Smith, Jr.; daughters, Chelsie Marie Smith and Tori Lei Green; brother, Kevin Binnicker, half-brother B.J. Binnicker, step-brother, Laurin Oswald, step-sister, Lisa Sandel,  grandchildren, Vada Green, Thatcher Linder, Rex McCaskill, Granger Linder, Cash McCaskill, and Opal Linder, and beloved pet, Marlie.
