Shirley H Bouknight Obituary

Columbia — Shirley Hoppmann Bouknight, 85, of Columbia passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Born in Charleston, SC on January 9, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph Hoppmann and Louise Caines.

She is survived by sons; David, Rudy (Joyce); daughters, Susan Allen (Sparky) and Shirley Cox (Randy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Ferunden, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband of 54 years, David Bouknight, and infant daughter, Linda.

In light of the current COVID19 virus, there will be no service at this time.

The family would like to thank Lexington Medical Center and Agape Hospice of Lexington. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
