Saundra Marie Williams Richardson

Irmo- Memorial Service for Saundra Marie Williams Richardson 79, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 at New Hope Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers and memorials, please keep the family in your prayers. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.

  Mrs. Richardson passed away Monday, January 13, 2020. Born in Williston, SC on January 20, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Robert Grant Williams and Lora Stewart Williams. She enjoyed being with family and friends, was an avid reader and kept abreast of current events. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all that knew her. She a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Mrs. Richardson retired from SCDMV.

   She is survived by her husband, Carroll Richardson; son, Jeffrey Richardson; granddaughter, Sydney Richardson, and many nieces and nephews.

  She was also predeceased by her brothers, William (Billy) Grant Williams and Robert (Bobby) Lee Williams; and sisters, Mary Frances Williams Childers and Ella Mae Williams Gillian.

  The family wishes to express appreciation to the many members of the medical team at Lexington Medical Center who provided compassionate care during her recent illness.
