Sarah "Missy" Krenz Snell

Sarah “Missy” Krenz Snell, 60, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away on September 6, 2025.

Sarah was born on October 24, 1964, to Kenneth and Joyce Krenz in Columbia, SC. After graduating from Brookland-Cayce High School in 1982, Sarah went on to receive a degree from the University of Florida in respiratory therapy and an accounting degree from Midlands Technical College. She went on to pursue a firm career in accounting for 35+ years.

Sarah is survived by her children, Sara Joan Lumsden (Justin), Benjamin David Snell, and Shelby Deloris Elizabeth Spencer (Alex); grandchildren, Destiny Davis, JoAnna Goldman, Aaliyah Spencer, and MaeRuth Snell; brothers, Randy Krenz, Paul Krenz, Benjie Krenz (Cyndi); sister, Paula Como (Nick); and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Snell, and loving stepson, Bradley Davis.

Sarah was devoted to God, although she was very open-minded to having philosophical conversations. She went out of her way to help others, giving any and everything she could to those in need. Sarah often opened her home and her heart to give others, whether person or pet, a place to feel loved. Sarah approached the end of her life surrounded with an infinite amount of love from her closest family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 at 3:00pm at Celestial Memorial Gardens. All favors of condolences may be sent to Barr-Price Funeral Home.
