Sara Hyler Jones

Graveside service for Sara Hyler Jones, 85, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025 at Ridge Crest Memorial Park with the Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Jones passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Otis and Gladys Banks Hyler and was a receptionist.

Surviving are her children, Scott Jones (Charlene); Beth Taylor; brother, Otis “Bankston” Hyler (Sue); grandchildren, Zak Taylor, Zane Taylor, Hayden Jones, Carlee Jones, and Gracie Jones; great-grandchild, Oaklee Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Shannon O’Neal Jones; a brother, Randy Hyler; sisters, Kay Green and Betty Hyler.
