Sandra Shealy Kaiser Hobbs

Batesburg-Sandra Shealy Kaiser Hobbs, 81, passed away peacefully April 8, 2026 after a brief stay in the hospital.

Sandra was born in Lexington, SC on October 9, 1944 to the late James Thurmond Shealy and Ida Florie Jones Shealy. She was a 1962 graduate of Lexington High School.  She loved dancing and socializing with her friends on Friday nights.  She loved spending time with her family and was a member of Mt. Horeb Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Johnnie Lynn Kaiser Hutto (Rick), grandson, Patrick Hutto (Sydney), Adam Hutto, step-sons, BJ Hobbs and Chris Hobbs (Kendra), brothers, Jerry T. Shealy and Wayne Shealy, both of whom she loved with all her heart. She is also survived by her companion, Roy Smith, many nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, James H. Shealy, 5 nephews, and 4 nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter.
