Sandra Lee Thomas

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Lee Thomas, 64, of Lexington, SC, on May 14, 2026. She was the daughter of the late James Dargan Thomas and Billie Haddon Thomas.

Sandra earned a BS degree in Marketing and Management from the University of SC. She had an eye for fashion and a real talent for selling boots, shoes or any kind of fashion or fashion accessories. Her laugh was contagious, and she always greeted people with warmth and kindness. Sandra was a hard worker who often juggled multiple jobs at once. Mathematically inclined, she worked in the banking and medical supply industry and spent many years assisting her mom at Applied Computer Services. She was especially close to her mom. They were two of a kind, both avid Gamecock fans dressed in Gamecock attire at gametime. Her mom watched protectively over her while her two sisters remained by her side. Sandra, with her strength, toughness and determination, continued her favorite pastime of walking to carry her through a long and tough journey to peace.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Erika Brasington (Blake); grandson, Roman; stepdaughter, Ashley Garcia; two sisters, Lynn Gore and Patti Herpst; nephews, Thomas Gore, Dargan Gore, and Charlton Herpst.. There will be visitation honoring Sandra and her mother, Billie Thomas, at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chpael on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A private burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. We invite all who knew Sandra to honor her life by sharing your memories, stories, and photographs on her memorial page.
