West Columbia- Samuel Dwaine Smith, 44, resided in West Columbia, South Carolina. Sam passed away on April 20th, 2022 and was preceded in death by Johnny Smith (father).
Sam was born in Lexington, South Carolina on October 14th, 1977 to Johnny (Donna) Smith. Sam graduated as a Gilbert High School Alumni where he participated in track and football.
Sam leaves behind surviving mother, Donna Smith (Gilbert). Surviving family: Bobbie Smith (spouse). Sam leaves behind his two sons, Tyler Smith (Florida), Jonathan Cardwell (Lexington). Sam leaves behind his three daughters: Harley Smith (West Columbia), Jordan Smith (West Columbia), and Shelby Cardwell (Lexington). Sam also had a grandson Carter Lynch (Gilbert). He also leaves behind his siblings, one bother Jason Smith (Lexington), and one sister Danielle (Chris) Newhouse (Gilbert). Sam had two aunts and one uncle. Micheal (Hilda) Roland (Gilbert), Gloria (Scott) Neese (Pelion). Sam left behind two nieces and one nephew, Madison Smith, Emma Newhouse (Gilbert), and Jacob Newhouse (Gilbert). Sam had one adopted daughter, Candice Branham (West Columbia) and two adopted grandbabies Brice Tindall (West Columbia) and Logan Hickman (West Columbia).
Sam worked for Stier Supply as a Sub Contractor. He is a master carpenter, he had many trades such as certified plumber, chemical licensed, operator of all machines, and was an entrepreneur of his own company (Trimcon Woodworking LLC).
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Barr Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday April 27th at 2:00pm. Family asked all flowers go to Barr Price Funeral Home (Leesville)
