Sadie Clamp Mincey

Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Clamp Mincey, 87, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Gilbert with the Rev. Mark Sanders officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Association, P.O. Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Mincey family with arrangements.

Sadie passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026. She was born on January 23, 1939 in Leesville, South Carolina to the late J.D. and Ruth Stoudemire Clamp. Sadie was a member of First Baptist Church of Gilbert and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughter, Tricia Amick (Darren); brother, Randy Clamp; sisters, Barbara Minick, Gale McCullough, and Hazel Hucks; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Shelton Mincey; daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Mark Bullard; brother, Gerald Clamp; and a sister, Margie Lybrand.
