Columbia-Bradley “BJ” Davis, 38, left this world behind on Friday, June 3rd, 2022. BJ was born on October 7, 1983 in Wynne, Arkansas but spent most of his life in Columbia, SC. He was a beloved partner, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. His smile was contagious, just like the love he shared with everyone close to him. BJ served a total of 13 years enlisted in the Army National Guard and he was deployed as part of Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan in 2010. At the time of his death, he was an avid instructor for 12B10 Reclassification Course for 1st Battalion (Engineers) 218th Regiment (Leadership) and a passionate General Manager at Stone Canyon Cabins of Columbia.
He is survived by his significant other, Allison; daughter, Destiny; mother, Sarah; brothers, Joe, Jeff, David (Hannah), and James; sisters, Nancy (Bruce), Joni (Justin), and Shelby (Alex).
He is predeceased by his father, Kenneth Snell; and his grandmother, Mary Frymire.
The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 4 pm, Saturday, June 11th, at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Graveside service with full military honors will be held 3 pm, Sunday, June 12th, at Celestial Memorial Gardens with Pastor Brian Lee officiating. A reception will follow the graveside service at the VFW 8738 in Lexington, SC from 4:45 pm to 7:30 pm.
