Ruth (Darlene) Shull

Darlene was born on September 19, 1950. She passed away peacefully, at her residence in Swansea S.C on October 16, 2025. Hospice did assist.

She leaves behind her partner, Mark Kinney of 16 years, 4 of which was being her personal care giver.

Darlene enjoyed being outdoors, good shopping bargains and always on the go until medical issues took over.

Darlene is survived by brothers, Raymond Ferguson and Ricky Ferguson of Pelion SC; sister, Martha Wingard of Swansea, Betty Harper of Columbia, SC,  Nancy Emanuel (Joe) of Lexington SC; and many nieces and nephews; as well as a great, great nephew.

She was predeceased by her father, Phillip Ferguson and her mother, Viola Ferguson of Columbia SC; brothers, Roger Carter, Bobby Ferguson, Alfred Ferguson and sister, Mary Nobles.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 18th, 2025  at Celestial Memorial, 3111 Delree St West Columbia, SC 29170.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SC Kidney Foundation.
