A Celebration of Life for Russell M. Horton, 57, will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Russell passed away June 29, 2019. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Jack V. Horton and Maurine Campbell Horton. He was an avid South Carolina Gamecocks football fan. More importantly, he loved spending time with his son and grandchildren. Russell also loved his special dog, Precious.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Horton; son, J.V. Brice Horton (Jessica); step-sons, Shawn Jones (Leah) and Shane Jones (Ashlee); step-daughters, Leigh Jones and Sabrina Jones; brothers, Van Horton (Becky), David Horton (Sheryl), Bobby Horton, and Preston Horton (Penny); and 15 grandchildren.
