Ruby Smith Taylor

Mrs. Ruby Smith Taylor, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Born on May 10, 1944, she was a daughter of the late James C. and N.L Taylor Smith. Ruby was member of Enon Lutheran Church, and worked in manufacturing industry, where she later retired from Union Switch and Signal as a sub foreman.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne Taylor; son, James D. Taylor; daughter, Tina Waters; sister, Sylvia Taylor; 2 grandchildren, Ryan Waters and Dalton Waters (Lauren); and 2 nieces, Amanda Taylor and Melissa Taylor.

She was predeceased by an infant son, son-in-law, Bruce Waters; and brother in-law, Bobby Taylor.

The memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. - Friday August 29, 2025 at Enon Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jan Boyd and Rev. Barry Shealy officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Enon Lutheran Church, 4100 Pond Branch Road, Leesville SC 29070.
