Rose Ann Roth, beloved wife of William Michael Roth, passed away on October 2, 2025, following an ongoing kidney-related illness Born on March 8, 1943, in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lila Mae Branham.
After marrying William Michael Roth in 1962, the couple lived in Elkhart, Indiana, where they welcomed their daughters, Dana M. Swarner and "Terri" Alexys V. Wolf. In 1974, they returned to Lexington, South Carolina. In 1975 Rose Ann founded Roth Reweaving - pursuing her lifelong passion for sewing and creating high-quality handcrafted work.
Rose Ann was admired for her kindness, generosity, and unshakable spirit. Her signature phrase, “I’m fantastic!” reflected her optimistic nature, and she had a special gift for encouraging others, even during her final days. A trailblazer who lived life on her own terms, she instilled the same independent, driven spirit in her family.
She is survived by her husband, William Michael Roth; daughters, Alexys V. Wolf and Dana M. Swarner; grandchildren, Kyle Swarner, Andrea Acord, Aaron Swarner, Sophia Wolf and Genesis E. Jamison; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Swarner, Reagan Acord, Harper Swarner, Nash Swarner, Brinley Jones and Emmaline Acord.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025, at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, SC, with a funeral service following at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Fiery Sword, Rose Ann’s favorite ministry; or you may choose to donate to the Alzheimer's Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
