Ronda Newton, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on June 14, 1956, in Columbia, South Carolina.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Ronda spent her career in general labor within the industrial sector. She was widely respected for her strong work ethic, resilience, and tenacity—qualities that defined her both professionally and personally. In retirement, she continued to embody these traits while devoting herself to the people she loved most. Her strength, determination, and love for family and friends were a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
Ronda is survived by her son, John (Andrea) Newton; her daughter, Heather (Kent) Hustead; her brothers, Randy (Ronda) Miller and Marvin (Trudy) Miller; her sister, Renda (Robert) Warren; and her four cherished grandchildren, Lane Barnes, Cheyenne Barnes, Daniel Newton, and Brooke Newton.
She was predeceased by her parents, Grover and Margaret Miller.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home & Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. Services are under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.
