Memorial services for Ronald David Coulter, Sr., 82, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. – Friday, September 12, 2025 at Kittiwake Baptist Church – West Columbia with the Rev. Tim Sieberhagen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kittiwake Baptist Church, 420 Kitti Wake Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Coulter passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Born in Startown, North Carolina, he was the son of the late David Ellis and Georgia Ann Smith Coulter.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carletha Jacobs Coutler; sons, Ronald David Coulter, Jr., of Blythwood and Timothy Wayne Coulter (Tarri) of Blythwood; daughter, Dora Marie Coulter Brooks (Will) of Gilbert; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Ronnie was a member of Kittiwake Baptist Church where he enjoyed his church very much. He worked for Greyhound Bus Lines for 25 years until his retirement. He also drove for Lexington County School District One for 20 years. He served his country in the U.S. Air force for 4 years, where he was very proud of the work he did.
