Ronald Lee Campbell, 79, of Lexington, SC, died Monday, January 4, 2021. Born April 12, 1941 in Bristol, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Reverend A.W. and Hattie Lee Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was the owner of R&M Sign Service for many years following a career at Colite Industries. Mr. Campbell was also a longtime member of Red Bank Baptist Church. He devoted his life to his Lord and his family. Mr. Campbell’s favorite times were spent with his wife, his children, and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, June Bellamy Campbell. They were married August 12, 1960 and he always called her his “bride”. They resided in Lexington, SC since 1974 where they raised two children, Rhonda Campbell Earles (Duane A. Earles), and the late Michael Dean Campbell. He is also survived by grandchildren, Halee Sharpe Munsch (Jarid Munsch), Katelyn Erin Turner, Michael Lee Campbell, Chelsy Alice Kyzer; great-grandchildren, Jaid and Jaxon Munsch, Aubree Campbell, Madelyn Tilly, Dusty and Isabell Turner; his siblings, Ann, Alene and Dean; and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and son, he was preceded in death by siblings, Bill, Bud, Bob, Helen, and Darlene.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 at Red Bank Baptist Church, Highway 6, Lexington, SC with the Reverend Jeff Wright officiating. With the pandemic, those attending are asked to respect social distancing. Viewing for friends and family is at Barr Price Funeral Home, Lexington, SC between 1:00 PM to 5:00 on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
